Analyst Rankings are Snapshots. Our Customers are Asking us to Lead.

Gartner® has published its latest Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications™ and we're in for the fifteenth year in a row. At 8x8 we're grateful for that - it reflects consistency, investment, and teams that execute. But we need to be honest: the gap between what some analysts measure and what customers need is widening. Fast.

Here's what happens when you build for the user, not the architect. As we recently revealed, the use of our AI solutions are moving fast. Usage went 121% year-over-year. 68% quarter-over-quarter

A lot of that success is down to 8x8 AI Studio. Teams that never had access to agent building could deploy a conversational agent in days. It succeeded because it was built for people, not architects. With 8x8 AI Studio we designed options for everyone. Technicians. Billing teams. HR departments. –segments that traditional platforms basically ignored. We didn't.

8x8 AI Studio works because it does something different: it lets you deploy a conversational agent in days, then layer in complex agentic workflows later without rebuilding governance or ripping out infrastructure. Same platform. Same data layer. No vendor switching. No starting over. Build for what customers need today, architect for what they'll need tomorrow. All in the same system.

That philosophy runs through everything and is why we're adding more features where customers need them. Real-time fraud detection? Customers asked for it. Focus Time Metrics for evidence-based coaching? That's the same question answered again: What do customers need to win? That's what matters - not “What looks impressive in a quadrant?” or “What’s the industry standard?”

Fifteen years in a Magic Quadrant means we've been consistent. What matters more is that we're still building for what comes next.
