Singapore Supplement to 8x8 UCaaS/CCaaS Regional Terms

SG-1. Applicability; Definitions. The provisions of this Singapore Supplement to 8x8 UCaaS/CCaaS Regional Terms (this “Supplement”) are a supplement to, and part of, the Regional Terms. As used in this Supplement, “PDPA” means the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) and “Singapore Personal Data” means personal data (as defined under the PDPA) that Customer sends, receives, or stores via Ordered SaaS Services provided to a Customer Location in Singapore.

SG-2. 8x8 Treatment of Singapore Personal Data. To the extent that that 8x8 processes (as defined under the PDPA) any Singapore Personal Data on behalf of Customer under this Agreement, 8x8 shall:

  1. (a) use or disclose such Singapore Personal Data solely (i) for the purpose of fulfilling 8x8's obligations or exercising 8x8’s rights under the Agreement (which shall, for clarity, include providing, supporting, maintaining, or enhancing the SaaS Services), (ii) as permitted by Customer or in accordance with Customer's instructions, or (iii) for the purpose of complying with laws or regulations, including without limitation in responding to legal process or court or administrative orders or rulings (collectively, the “Permitted Purposes”);
  2. (b) not retain Singapore Personal Data for longer than reasonably necessary for the Permitted Purposes or as required under applicable law or the internal policies and procedures of 8x8;
  3. (c) provide reasonable and timely assistance to Customer requests relating to 8x8’s processing of Singapore Personal Data as described in this Section SG-2 (8x8 Treatment of Singapore Personal Data); and
  4. (d) only use and store the Singapore Personal Data received from Customer in the countries and/or territories listed in https://www.8x8.com/uk/why-8x8/global-reach.

8x8 shall use and disclose any Singapore Personal Data that Customer submits to 8x8 other than that which is described in the immediately preceding sentence solely as set forth in 8x8’s Privacy Notice (available at https://www.8x8.com/terms-and-conditions/privacy-policy), or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
