The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager to own the strategy, execution, and optimization of 8x8's global paid media program. You'll be the engine behind our inbound pipeline — turning budget into qualified demand across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Influ2, programmatic display, and retargeting.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who lives at the intersection of creative instinct and analytical rigor. You'll partner closely with Integrated Campaigns, Web Strategy, Field & Channel, RevOps, and Sales to scale what works, kill what doesn't, and keep our CAC trending in the right direction.

What You'll Do
• Own the playbook. Build and execute the global paid media strategy across search, social, display, ABM, and retargeting — aligned to MQL, pipeline, and CAC targets.
• Allocate the budget. Manage a multi-million dollar annual paid media budget. Set channel mix, forecast performance, and reallocate fast when the data tells you to.
• Drive the engine. Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Influ2, Demandbase/6sense, Bing, Reddit, YouTube, and programmatic display partners.
• Power ABM. Partner with Campaigns and Sales to run 1:1 and 1:few ABM motions targeting our top 500 accounts across CCaaS, UCaaS, and CPaaS segments.
• Test relentlessly. Design and run A/B and multivariate tests on creative, audiences, bidding, and landing pages. Document wins, share losses, and turn both into the next test.
• Measure what matters. Build dashboards in Tableau and Salesforce that connect spend to pipeline. Report weekly on CPL, CPMQL, CPO, ROAS, and pipeline efficiency — and tell the story behind the numbers.
• Partner across the org. Brief Web Strategy on landing page needs, work with Brand on creative, sync with PMM on messaging, and keep the SDR/AE teams in the loop on what's coming through the funnel.
• Manage agencies and vendors. Hold our paid media agency, programmatic partners, and platform reps accountable to performance, transparency, and timelines.
• Bring fresh thinking. Stay ahead of the curve on generative AI ad tools, signal-based targeting, privacy-first measurement, and emerging channels. Pitch what's next.


What You Bring
• 7+ years of B2B paid media experience, ideally in SaaS, enterprise software, or CCaaS/UCaaS.
• Deep hands-on expertise across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Influ2, and programmatic platforms. You've personally built campaigns — not just briefed them.
• A proven track record managing Multi-millions in annual paid media spend with clear pipeline outcomes.
• Strong analytical chops. Comfortable in Salesforce, Tableau, GA4, and a marketing automation platform (Marketo preferred).
• Fluency with attribution models — first-touch, multi-touch, MMM — and a point of view on which one to use when.
• Experience supporting an ABM motion (Demandbase or 6sense) and integrating intent signals into paid targeting.
• Sharp writing instincts. You can edit a headline down to nine words without losing the punch.
• A bias for action. You'd rather ship, learn, and iterate than wait for a perfect plan.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Points
• Experience marketing to IT, CX, or contact center buyers.
• Familiarity with the 8x8 product portfolio — Contact Center, UCaaS, CPaaS, Engage, or 8x8 for Microsoft Teams.
• Hands-on use of AI-powered ad platforms (Performance Max, Advantage+, Google AI Max).
• Past life in an agency or at a high-growth scale-up.
• Built or scaled a partner/channel co-marketing paid program.

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges:

$134,000.00 - $201,000.00
