Taking partners to higher heights with the Elevate FY24 update

It’s been nearly a year since we first launched 8x8’s partner program Elevate, an industry-defining way of working with the channel. As you would expect from a customer-obsessed organization, we are committed to delivering an outstanding partner experience at all levels, every time. That means listening to the feedback of our partner community and iterating on our processes accordingly in our continued pursuit of excellence.

What 8x8 Elevate provides

8x8 partners are automatically enrolled into the 8x8 Elevate Partner Program. Starting with the Basecamp level, we provide partners with access to the resources that make 8x8 unique, like our SPIFFs, sales contests, lead generation resources, and sales collaboration, with further benefits as they rise through the tiers of Peak, Apex, and Summit. We’ve seen great success with our program, but we’re making some changes to the way that Elevate works to help everyone as they make their way through the tiers and as we all focus on being customer-obsessed.

What’s new for our partners in Elevate?

Partners have told us they appreciate the clarity within the tiers so that will continue, but we will no longer have tiers assigned based purely on bookings revenue. Instead, the program will take a more holistic and customer-centric approach to ongoing, sustained relationships. Make no mistake, we are still supporting and rewarding our partners for their commitment and sales growth, but our definitions for success have changed and our partner-facing teams are looking forward to sharing the new approach.

The teams will be elaborating on these changes, including how we’re making it easier for partners to rise through tiers and expanding opportunities for partners to maximize their earnings. We are excited to be offering partners more—more chances to rise through the tiers, more ways to take part in our free training and certification, more opportunities to be recognized as leaders locally, and more ways to work with 8x8.

Most importantly, it’s about what works for each partner. Every partner is unique and will be enabled with the visibility and guidance they need to see where they should be focusing and prioritizing.

Ongoing evolution of the 8x8 Partner Program

In the channel, success often comes from three key areas: relationships, support, and incentives. The enhanced tier benefits were carefully developed with each of these areas in mind. We’re excited to see these changes roll out as we work together to deliver increased channel awareness of 8x8 and satisfied end customers.
