Introducing 8x8 Work

A new way of working requires new apps to keep up. We have argued that work from anywhere is insufficient to describe how work is changing. Our mantra, operate from anywhere, means that organizations need to be fully invested in enabling a mobile workforce. We believe place needs to be removed from the word workplace.

Today, we are introducing 8x8 Work, a revamped version of Virtual Office, our flagship all-in-one cloud communications and collaboration service.

8x8’s Open Communications Platform is designed to continually introduce new capabilities, updates and integrations to help customers be responsive to their customers and employees’ needs. As part of the platform, we can update apps and create innovative services like 8x8 Voice for Teams.

Today, we are introducing 8x8 Work, a revamped version of Virtual Office, our flagship all-in-one cloud communications and collaboration service. There is a new logo color and color scheme, and we are working behind the scenes to make it easier to use and provide more benefits coming soon. We are making these changes to help our customers shift to operate from anywhere to be better equipped to adapt successfully to business disruptions or compete more aggressively on a global stage. Check the video out to get the details.

These changes, which are effective today, are for our communications and collaboration services. We have not changed features and functionality. We expect that users will continue to have the same familiar experience meaning they do not have to seek out their favorite features.

We are excited to bring you these updates as we help you bring operate from anywhere to life. Get tips and lessons learned about operate from anywhere in our new Operate From Anywhere eBook.
