Effective May 1, 2016, 8x8 is discontinuing our basic Switchboard product. Customers with basic Switchboard are automatically being upgraded to our more advanced Switchboard Pro solution. Email notifications were sent out in March. Customers with basic Switchboard were given access to Switchboard Pro in March so they have time to get familiar with Pro before basic Switchboard is turned off on May 1. What customers can expect from Switchboard Pro With Switchboard Pro, you can take advantage of sophisticated call processing and handling capabilities to more effectively route internal and external callers to the right resources. This easy-to-use browser-based solution is accessible via dashboard.8x8.com, and works with your 8x8-provided Polycom IP phone. Key features include:
