The Position:
Our marketing drives customers to our web site where a prospective business will either call or email sales to learn about our product or request a quote. You will answer their questions, learn about their business, handle objections, and close them by presenting a value proposition custom tailored for their needs. This will be a combination of cost savings, ROI, features gains (productivity/ease of use). In some cases you can close on the first call, but more likely through well managed follow. Our sales cycles average 21 days. 9 times out of 10 you'll be talking to the decision maker.

Compensation:

The web based portal enables 8x8’s customers securely login to the portal, manage their communication services, ability to manage multimedia contents, account settings, view monthly billing statements etc.
As a Java Web Application Developer, you will be building and maintaining web interfaces for the 8x8.com self-service portal. You will work closely with developers, web designers, HCI people, and others to ensure a consistent look and feel throughout the portal. You should know how to apply rigorous design, coding, and testing principles to UI development. Not only will you be expected to quickly build prototype UIs, but you will be responsible for developing thoughtful UI designs that are unique, exciting, and, most importantly, fun to use.

Job Description
The ideal candidate will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by promptly assisting customers, new or existing, with the resolution of issues preventing the transfer of a customer’s existing telephone number to 8x8. Job specific training will be provided for all functions.
