Advanced Call Forwarding

When it comes to call forwarding, you need maximum flexibility. You might want to forward calls one way if you're on the phone, another way if you don't pick up. 8x8 gives you all the options you need.

You can choose your rules.

• Always Forward. Specifiy how calls are forwarded all the time (overrides other choices)
• If Phone is Busy. Specify how calls should be treated when you are on the phone.
• If No Answer. Specify how calls should be treated when you don't answer after a certain number of seconds (that you determine)
• On Network Outage. Specify how calls should be treated if your network goes down.

Then define how you want calls forwarded for each scenario.

• Send to voicemail
• Send to the auto attendant
• Send to an outside number (or extension)
• Send to your One Number Access rules

For example, if you are going on vacation, you might want to set all your calls to always forward directly to voicemail without ringing your phone at all. Or if you want your calls to find you at several numbers, you can define and use your One Number Access rules. It's up to you!

Let Your Calls Find You Wherever You Are With One Number Access

Don't you hate it when you miss a critical call? With one number access, you can make sure your calls find you everywhere you want them to.

With one number access, you can enter up to four numbers where you can be reached. You can choose to have all those numbers ring at the same time (simultaneous ring), or they can ring in a specific order until your call finds you (sequential ring). If you don't pick up after all the numbers have rung, the call can go to voicemail.

If you are concerned about someone else picking up your calls, you can also password-protect your destinations. You can even turn on call screening with your One Number Access settings so that your callers need to identify themselves before their call is put through to you.
